Travel and Freedive at Puerto galera

Hi , this is Rz bits and pieces, I will be taking you to Puerto Galera.
which means “Port of the Galleons.” in Spanish
It is located in Oriental Mindoro, one of the most visited provinces in the region and one of the major tourist destinations in the Philippines. It is my 1st time here and it did not fail to create wonders. Its coastal town has a number of pocket beaches, snorkeling and diving spots, both in freedive and SCUBA. It is located at the southwestern end of the Isla Verde Passage,

Being in The “center of the center” of marine biodiversity in the world namely Verde Passage – the waters between Batangas and Mindoro offers one of the richest, exquisite, diverse coral reef diving in Asia located at the very heart of the ‘Coral Triangle’.

In fact, The area was designated a Man and Biosphere Reserve of UNESCO in 1973.It is also Listed one of the Most Beautiful Bays of the World and is the only bay in the Philippines to be found on this list.

We visited Aninuan Beach, Coral Garden, Long Beach, Coco Beach, Sabang and Monkey Beach. thru Certified Freedivers’ Boat Dive of freedive inn(Php 2,000.00) with kuya lawrence.

WHERE TO STAY:

OUR STAY
This is Rz bits and pieces, in this videoI am going to share our experience/ my review about our stay in freedive inn. .I love it becasue it is beachfront and it is affordable plus diver-friendly. I believe non-freedivers are welcome here.

So if you have watched my previous vlog I mentioned that this is located in aninuan beach, just next to the popular white beach. but it is quieter.

-Basically, the 1st floor you can see the sofas and dining tables. Ambience is pretty much cozy
-Guest rooms are located on the second floor of our building.
-we got our room for 4 people (P2,500)
air-conditioned rooms have a bathroom with hot shower and toiletries. The rate includes breakfast for four already.

-They have many chill spots: a beach, itself, with sun chairs, tables and umbrellas in front of the building, a terrace with columns, a common area on the ground floor with sofas and table., veranda

I was asked why stay here.t it is much less crowded, really quiet and relaxing perfect family and couples. .Sand is not fine and wait but It is a long stretch of sand with a small cobbles .– Beach that is very quiet and clean, but if you want an active tourist life, you can walk to White Beach..

FREEDIVE TOURS

FreeDive Inn / Freediving school Philippines is located in one of the oldest hotels in Puerto Galera.

We availed -Certified Freedivers’ Boat Dive (Php 2,000.00) – a 4-hour boat dive for 2 to 4 persons with Kuya Lawrence as our boatman. For noncertified, a certified instructor will accompany them so it’s around 4000

However, all of the freedivers on board should be certified. Safety is the top priority of Freedive Inn and they wouldn’t want to risk non-certified freedivers to be out in the open. .
==========================

Freediving inn is also a freediving school. yes t they conduct Freediving courses and coaching sessions as well
There we met Coach Alex and Coach Mila, the 2 in-house Molchanov SSI instructors. Got a good chat with them. Alex who somehow gave me stretching advice and Mila whom I got to have a good chat with regarding the inn, about how it was renovated, how it started.

She told me the house reef was also nice to visit, we weren’t able to check due to lack of time and we got tired from the dives. hehe Probably soon.

They arranged our travel requirements. They have a mini bar and resto and have a menu on their own, like boodle fight. But we didn’t avail that time.i forgot the reason. The staff was really nice.
Kuya Lawrence is very nice. He is very versatile as an all-around crew, and easy to talk to. I talked with him about the islands of Mindoro. You know me I m very inquisitive. Haha. I just learned something that blew my mind of. Mindoro is named that way because of ” gold mines.” Anyway I love their boat.Really diver friendly.
